In July 2011, the Ministry of Environmental Protection released the Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Thermal Power Plants (GB 13223-2011), which issued more strict limitations to the gas pollutant of thermal power plants, especially NOx, with the limitation of 100mg/m3. This standard is stricter than the limitation of 200mg/m3 that applied in EU currently. The increasingly strict requirement for thermal power plants will be helpful for expanding the market capacity of electric power environmental protection industry. Market Capacity Forecast of Thermal Denitration

Market Capacity Forecast for Denitration Equipment: If conducts flue gas denitrification to all the newly built coal-fired power boilers and all coal-fired power boilers with EIA approval from 2004 to the end of 2011, and conducts flue gas denitrification to parts of thermal power units which have been built before 2003, the capacity for new flue gas denitrification will reach 0.817 billion KW after the new regulation implemented in 2011; it needs to invest 173.7 billion Yuan in denitration in total, and the operation cost will be 61.2 billion Yuan/year in 2015.
