Currently, national Ⅳ standards are to be implemented. Vehicle pollution control industry will thus usher in an unprecedented development opportunity. Compared with national Ⅲ standards, on the basis of the former standards, national Ⅳ standards require that light-duty vehicles to reduce emissions about 50 percent, heavy-duty vehicles to reduce exhaust emissions by about 30% and particulate emissions be cut by more than 80%.
