As the basis of manufacturing industry the equipment manufacturing is named “industrial master”. The high-end numerical control machine and basic manufacturing equipment are necessities for the industry modernization needed facilities and equipments. And the performance, quality and quantity have become a significant sign of a country’s industrialization level and national power. The equipment manufacturing countries of strength in the world, such as America, Japan and Germany, think highly of controlling the commanding height of high-end manufacturing equipment, upgrading traditional equipment manufacturing industry by high-tech, supporting high-end manufacturing and keeping industry advantages.

Currently, either the output value of machine tool or the production of numerical control machine in China ranks first in the world. The industry total output value and product sales volume of China machine tool industry in 2010 maintain a higher growth rate, among which the production of metal processing machine breaks through 1 million. China will still be the biggest producer and consumer of machine tool in the world. The production of China machine tool in 2011 is 1.0984 million; industry total output value is 660.65 billion Yuan with a year-on-year growth rate of 32.1%, among which number of numerical control machine is 272,100 with a growth rate of 15.26%. Moreover, the high-end numerical control machine is kind of high-end equipment manufacturing with features of high-tech content and high-tech added value. High-end product demand of numerical control machine is strong and related numbers grows in a fast speed presently. The total consumption proportion of numerical control machine to machine increases up to over 60% and will continuously fast develops during the “twelfth five years”. On the other hand, the demand class is increasing too. With the development of high-end new products of key field in the promotion equipment manufacturing, numerical control machine requirement from every field will higher. It is roughly predicted that by the end of the “twelfth five years”, the 2015, total asset of China numerical control machine industry is hopefully to break through 240 billion Yuan, and 180 billion Yuan for sales revenue, 12 billion Yuan for total profit which year-on-year growth rate is over 10%. In the meantime, technology of China numerical control machine is greatly improved that by the end of the “twelfth five years”, self innovation capability of high-end numerical control machine and basic manufacturing equipment special parts will obviously improve. Thus the core technologies with independent intelligent property will promote the overall technical level to be advancing in the world.
