The gold price increasingly grew from 1,308 USD/ounce in January to a historic new record as 1,920 USD/ounce in September which made the gold become more and more popular. However, in the second half year the gold price gradually decreased to 1,600 USD/ounce and even with the second largest daily decrease since 2008 Financial Crisis. The year-round growth of gold price was 10% in 2011 which was the constant 11th year to increase. But the growth rate was the smallest one in current 3 years.

Among which the golden souvenir badges of 10g, 30g and 50g for gifts and collections sold well that the unit price was about 392 Yuan while the buyers were many. The American Federal Reserve committee has decrease the economic growth predicting data from 3.5% to 2.7% in November 2011. Moreover, the unemployment rate is predicted to be 8.6% by the end of 2012 which is far higher than the 5% before economic recession. According to analysis, the American Federal Reserve committee will maintain the interest rate at an extremely low level in order to improve employment rate. And money policy may be further relaxed.

Promoting by the global trend of “environmental protection”, people who are tired of urban life start turning back to nature. Therefore, the jewelry consumption tide trend to reform.
