According to available statistics, there are more than 400 provincial-level or above biomedicine industry park in current China. To accelerate cultivation and development of biomedicine industry, SDRC gave approval to four batches (which are 22 bases all together) national biomedicine industry bases. Three comprehensive biomedicine industry bases--Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region--and some professional biomedicine industry bases in the Northeast and Midwest regions are gradually formed. Such space distribution promotes biomedicine corporations, capitals, technologies and talents concentrating towards advancing area, and accelerates the biomedicine industry developing towards concentration and specialty.
